SHARE - A Network of Know-How
What is SHARE?
SHARE is an acronym for Support, Help and Advice from Renaissance East. In essence, as the logo says, SHARE is a ‘network of know-how’ – a FREE regional resource of time and knowledge that is there for the benefit of all museums in the East.
Drawing on expertise from around the region, it provides practical training and personalised advice across three interconnecting areas:
Caring for collections Engaging the public Governance and management
The beauty of SHARE is its flexibility: it’s open to any museum in the region and the support covered can range from a simple identification of an object, such as a coin, to a project lasting several days or weeks which, for instance, might help your museum develop an education programme for the first time or provide in-kind assistance on a gallery refurbishment. You can also use SHARE to assist with Accreditation.
