About Us
Set in a park the museum houses a model boat pond and a collection of over 35 offshore and inshore motorboats from the sports & leisure field, ranging from 1873 to the present ,inboard and outboard motors, technical drawings and a reference library, some models and personal possessions and racing trophies.
The motorboats include some early examples and record breakers and the museum explores developments in design.
The museum is in Wat Tyler Country Park on Pitsea Hall Lane off the roundabout where the A132 and A13 meet.
The nearest train station is Pitsea, which is 15mins walk.
