Introduction
In November 2009 10 museums attended the Renaissance funded SHARE scheme Shipshape Shipmodel conservation training course held at the Nottage Maritime Institute.

Ship Model Conservation Training
In November 2010 the Renaissance in the Regions programme and the SHARE scheme hosted a training day for Maritime museums in the East about the conservation of Shipmodels. Two conservators taught the delegates about the proper care and maintance of their shipmodel collections. The training was hosted by the Nottage Maritime Institute.
