About Us

Visitors can go on board the 37ft last off shore lifeboat from Clacton, which is housed in the original Victorian lifeboathouse. The museum also contains a complete history of the lifeboat service in Harwich.

How to Find Us

Harwich town rail station is ten minutes walk from the museum, which overlooks the harbour.
On street parking available close to museum.
Museum is accessible via the foot ferry from Felixstowe.
