About Us
Southend Central Museum, the headquarters of Southend Museums Service, houses our collections of archaeology, natural and social history. The displays reflect the story of the town's growth as a major seaside destination and its rich natural history and fishing heritage.
The Planetarium provides a varied selection of talks about astronomy and the night sky. All the presentations are given live, with ample opportunity for questions.

Opening Hours
Tuesday to Saturday 10-5pm
Planetarium: Saturday shows at 11am, 2pm and 4pm. The 11am show will provide a more in depth look at astronomy
