Introduction

Nottage Summer Exhibition 2013

In 2013 our Summer Exhibition is again in two parts.  The first part will run from Sunday 19th May until Sunday 7nd July.  Entitled "Waterlines" it will feature the art of two generations. The World renowned local artist James Dodds, with a few of his linocut pictures, will be complemented by work by other members of his family.  There will be a welcome return by his wife Catherine Dodds whose pottery proved to be so popular a few years ago, together with offerings from Wendy and Bryan Thomas, his mother and step-father.   An unusual addition will be a sample from the large portfolio of the Late Andrew Dodds, James' father.

In addition to its role as a Maritime Institute, the Nottage has been the home to several courses with a non-Maritime content, French and Italian language classes, Creative Writing, Woodcarving, and a Life Drawing Class.  This year, for one weekend only, on the 13th and 14th July, the latter will be putting their work on public display.

The second part will run from 20th July until 8th September, and will feature the work of local artists.
