Introduction
In October 2008 Maritime Heritage East held its first regional event at three museums in Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex, which attracted 750 visitors. The event worked with the Museum of the Broads, Felixstowe Museum and Walton Maritime Museum. The events ran over the October half term. They were designed to encourage new audiences to the museums, as well as raising awareness of Maritime Heritage East.
This is the data collected using two different feedback forms. One counted the numbers of adults and children to the museums and the other was an optional feedback form encouraging visitors to rate their experience. More data was collected at some sites than others, as the events were tailored to the museums that hosted them.
There is also an extensive image bank of photos taken at all 3 events, demonstrating the range of activities and the fun had by all.
