Scots Steam Drifters at Quayside, Great Yarmouth 1920s
Black and white photograph showing steam drifters crowded at Great Yarmouth Quay. The port registration numbers can be identified from some of the vessel funnels.
Additional Notes
The letters on the funnels indicate that they have come from the Scottish ports of Buckie and Inverness. The local fleet was swollen with the addition of many Scottish vessels during the herring season.Theme: Fishing
