Piece of Bees wax Ref 1996.8.1

Harold Scott's Bees wax from 1933
70mm x 55mmx35mm, This wax was given in 1933 to Harold Scot then an orphan aged 16, by an old ex sailing ship Swedish Able Seaman. It was Harold’s first sea voyage, the ship being the SS Coriga. This Swedish sailor Harold canvas and wire work, thus is knowledge is passed on.
