Motor Launch based at Felixstowe during the second world war

Completed by Taylors of Chertsey on 13 Jan 1942

LOA 18ft Beam 18ft 6ins

Fitted with two Hall Scott Defender petrol engines

Max speed 20 knots

 

 

With the closing down of HMS Beehive at Felixstowe ML442 was decommissioned on the Medway and put up for sale in Oct 1945

I think this model was made by Stoker Harry Tomlinson who served on ML 442 and lived near Felixstowe
