Dutch Sail ref 2001.9.2

A staysail jib circa 1910

Sail, Dutch circa 1910 ref 2001.9.2         

This staysail jib is 2.8m on the foot 5.34 on the luff and 5.5 on the leech and is made from flax canvas. It is almost entirely hand made from flax canvas with just a very little straight machine stitching on edges.
